Let me just say, I have cute kids but Baby Alden is sooo cute. 

He just might out-cute my kids at the moment.

This is his mommy & daddy just about a year & a half ago.

I often get asked what is the best camera. Humm.....I'd have to say the one you will use. For my portraits, I have some modest Canon products; a 40D body & 2 lenses, a 50mm 1.4 (which I use 80% of the time) & a 70-200mm L 2.8 that is rapidly growing on me.
With the exception of weddings, I don't use a flash. I sometimes use a reflector.
The family & I were just in Orlando, did the whole Disney world thing. I took my 7 year old Canon power shot pro1 to document the experience. It is pretty beat up & somewhat temperamental but did the job & I was w/o the stress of looking after my professional equipment.
