Fun with Nana ~ kim curran san diego photographer

It has been a long time since I have spent time with my prissy friend Terry. I have known her for many years. I was her housekeeper some 20 years ago, yes, I scrubbed her toilets. I was thrilled when she told me she wanted to do a session with all her G-children (she does not like the "grand" word), I was surprised when she suggested a graffiti wall. So I took my prissy friend & her whole family to the hood. It was such a great time, the rain could not even spoil our fun.

Down on the Boardwalk~ kim curran

When it came time for Kendra's annual family photo session, we struggled a bit coming up with a location. You see, this is my forth year working with this super cool family. We have done urban, we have done colorful mural, and last year we did natural park, yes I made them carry the couch. We needed to keep things fresh because this family is cutting edge. We bounced a few ideas around, then Kendra suggested Belmont Park in Mission Beach. I had never photographed a session there but lived in the area for a few years in my early 20s, I welcomed the idea & was excited. Being a popular public place, I knew we would have to deal with a bit of a crowd. No problem for this family, I have them trained well, I'm telling you, they could model professionally.
Thanks Berger family, always a pleasure!!!

SDDTA Family of the year ~ kim curran

The San Diego District Tennis Association has chosen their Family of the Year for 2012 & they happen to be friends of the family.
I met with Dave, Libby & their 3 boys men to get a portrait they could use for the awards banquet program. Good looking family, don't you think?
Congratulations Jaehnig Family!
